Reuben James' My Line

A great neo-soul song with some sweet chords and a tight groove and a great improvisation window.

Cole - Marc Henderson

An original composition with a groovy and funky drum beat and bassline with a soulful melody played on trombone.

Trombone quartet - Improvisation

A trombone only quartet on the spot improvisation with some nice warm tones and delicate melodies.

London Living Room Jam #1

Here's a video of a recent project producing and recording some trombone improvisation over a hip hop/neo-soul groove. I'm using a soft and warm tone on trombone to compliment the laid back beat and vibe of this song.

Soloing over Mac Miller's "What's The Use?"

Playing some trombone lines over Mac Miller's brilliant tune What's The Use at a Jam session. Had some fun switiching up the chords and harmony with the band and getting creative with some trombone licks and putting my own spin on it.

The Good Manners "Walk or Talk"

With one of their recent hits reaching over 100,000 plays, I had the pleasure to collaborate with the funk duo The Good Manners in writing and recording some horn lines on this funk, soul and 16th note groove infused song Walk or Talk.

You & Me by Flume

I arranged this electronic song for a six piece contemporary brass band featuring Moog synth bass, drums and a four piece horn line up as part of my final year recital. My aspirations for this project were to show the versatility of horns in a variety of styles  and in particular the trombone taking more of the melodical lines in this project and showing off its unique tone and sound.
